Go therefore and make disciples of all nations
Matthew 28:19
We currently partner with other churches and organizations to support two couples on long term missions. Adam and Judy currently serve overseas, and Gary and Keri serve in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
In 2023 Chad had the opportunity to join Calvary Chapel Deer Park on their annual mission trip to Mexico. While they were there they helped paint rooms, feed children, they played soccer, and led worship for local orphanages. As well as ministered to the residents of some of the local men's homes. The gospel was given to the public and the team served families by providing clothing, food, haircuts, and fun.
We look forward to one day sending a team of our own somewhere as the Lord leads and provides.

Missionaries we help support
Adam and Judy
Adam was saved in January 2001 after attending a Bible study in Farmington, WA. Judy was Saved in 1989 while attending college. Adam served at Calvary Chapel of the Palouse in the men's home that housed men coming out of prison who were making an effort to recover from their past into new life with Christ. In 2004 Adam accompanied previous pastor, David Caudle, on a mission trip to Mexico and he knew the Lord was calling him to missions. When Adam knew he was to go overseas to the middle east he took two semesters of Arabic at UI.
Adam met his wife Judy when their paths crossed in Amman, Jordan in 2007 where Adam's calling to overseas missions was once again affirmed. Judy was called to missions in the 90's. Adam and Judy work with Worldwide Evangelization Crusade as branch leaders and started their work overseas serving refugees. Years later, they are continuing their work serving children in the local area, offering before and after school programs.
Adam spends his time sharing with and discipling others as he works on his masters degree in Middle Eastern Studies. Judy runs a program where she trains young Syrian women to teach English. Judy and another woman also visit the families of the children. Please pray for the Lord to continue to lead Adam and Judy as they fulfil their calling.

Gary and Keri
After a number of short term missions trips Keri knew the Lord was beginning to call her to longer missions. Her and Gary just started getting to know each other, but agreed to fulfill their separate missions. Keri served in Vajta, Hungary, while Gary served at La Posada del Calvario, in Rosarito Beach, Mexico. When they returned home they were engaged a month later. Six months after they were married Gary and Keri's pastor, Bill Walden, in Napa, CA, sent them off to serve at La Posada.
While ministering full time at La Posada, Gary and Keri were able to meet CCOP's previous pastor, David Caudle, which is when CCOP got involved in helping support them in their calling. After three and a half years, the Lord moved Gary and Keri to the middle of South Baja. There they built a missions base and helped plant a church. After sixteen faithful years of service in South Baja, the Lord moved Gary and Keri once again to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico to help Calvary Chapel Safe Harbor, where they have been serving since.
Gary and Keri currently lead the children's ministry and serve on the worship team. Please be praying for them and the work the Lord has called them to.

Is the Lord calling you to short term missions?
Is the Lord calling you to short term missions? CCOP doesn't currently have a team going on yearly missions trips but we do know other Calvary Chapels that do. If the Lord is calling you to short term missions to minister to foreign nations, please reach out to us today so we can get you in contact with a Calvary that is preparing a team to go.
