Matthew 27:45-66, 28
As Jesus releases His Spirit to the hands of the Father, darkness envelopes the land and an earthquake ensues tearing the veil in the most Holy place. This gave all who believe in Jesus, direct access to God, breaking the barrier between God and humanity. When it is revealed that Jesus has been raised from the dead, the pharisees quickly concoct a story in attempts to cover up the resurrection of the Messiah. Jesus meets His disciples and calls them to the great commission to "go and make disciples of all nations," encouraging all who would believe in Jesus that He is with them until the end of age.
